About The Position

This role is responsible for performing mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under the direction of a radiologist. The technologist will greet patients, prepare them for their exams, and explain the procedures. Key responsibilities include positioning patients for radiographs, utilizing proper exposure factors for high-quality images, and maintaining quality standards for mammography as per the ACR Mammography QA/QC Manual and Hologic Selenia Dimensions QC Manual. Additional duties involve meeting continuing education requirements specified by MQSA, tracking patient information in the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing, and performing other tasks necessary for quality patient care.

Requirements

• NY license
• ARRT in Mammography
• At least 1 year of recent experience at a facility of similar size.

Responsibilities
