About The Position
Helps the PACS/RIS network Administrator do the following: Plans, direct and supervise all technical aspects for the PACS system in regards to services, programs and evaluation of such programs. Helps develop, implement and evaluates PACS policies with the Director of Imaging and others as needed. Coordinates the budget and PACS expansions with the Imaging Services Director and Chief Information Officer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college of university or extensive experience in lieu of degree.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
- Ability to become proficient in use of hospital MIS system and department RIS computer system.
Nice To Haves
- 5 years clinical experience in applicable field.
- PACS and/or RIS experience.
