Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accredited ultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.
• Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board; OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT); or Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); OR Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT; or Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT.
• Three (3) or more years of clinical experience.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
• Acts as a liaison between their assigned department and the referring physician's offices.
• May work with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• In Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine supervisor serves adult and geriatric patients.
