About The Position
The Radiology Student Technologist at Richmond Community Hospital works under the direct supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist. This role is dedicated to applying diagnostic imaging skills and art through the safe and effective use of ionizing radiation within the diagnostic radiology department. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited radiology program and has successfully completed one year of school with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required)
- Ability to monitor patient conditions
- Ability to inform medical professionals of patient conditions and care

Nice To Haves
- GXMO (General X-Ray Machine Operator) state limited license (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)

- Picture archiving communication system (PACS) (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Apply the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of ionizing radiation, in the area of diagnostic radiology
- Assist with the review of patient information as it relates to radiographic exams
- Provide lifting assistance and escort patients to and from Radiology
