About The Position

The Radiology Student Technologist works under the direction of a Registered Radiologic Technologist, applying the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of ionizing radiation in diagnostic radiology. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited radiology program and has successfully completed one year of school with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care)

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the review of patient information as it relates to radiographic exams
  • Provides lifting assistance and escorts patients to and from Radiology
