Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. The Student Radiology Technologist, under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. This role involves assuming responsibility for and maintaining the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures, and ensuring equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each procedure. The technologist coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma, and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices, while adhering to Corewell's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
