About The Position

This position is for a Radiology Student Technologist at Freeman West, working on a PRN (as-needed) basis. The Radiology department is equipped with state-of-the-art digital equipment and serves as a teaching department with students in areas such as MRI, X-Ray, and Ultrasound. The team consists of highly experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or completion of ARRT certification and registration within 90 days after graduating from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the medical plan of care and under the direct supervision of the physician, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patient.
• Implements appropriate diagnostics, occasionally provide interventional and therapeutic care and evaluate effectiveness, and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner.
