About The Position

Assists technologist with various tasks that require independent judgment. Students are required to apply for a temporary student radiography license by applying at kbmirt.ky.gov. Students are eligible to apply in the 2 ND YEAR or 50% of their program is completed. The temporary license allows students to perform exams and manipulate the equipment under the supervision of a licensed radiographer.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be currently enrolled as a second year Radiography student and in good academic standing while working toward completion of an approved Radiography program
• Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible at program completion
• BLS required

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of radiologic technology obtained upon program completion
