The special procedures technologist operates CT, X-ray, and Fluoroscopic equipment to perform radiographic examinations of designated body parts. This role involves entering exam charges, performing high-quality CT examinations on patients of all ages, and collaborating with Radiologists to follow imaging protocols and provide patient information. The technologist is responsible for maintaining the exam room, equipment, and supplies, keeping up-to-date with continuing education requirements, and maintaining accurate records. The position also requires participation in all departmental shifts, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to react objectively and use good judgment in crisis situations. All other related duties as assigned are also part of the role.
