About The Position

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Radiology School Program Director who will direct the activities of the School of Radiologic Technology. Duties include, but are not limited to, proficiently managing curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising. The role involves maintaining overall school design standards as established by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations from the Joint Review Committee, State agencies, and other accrediting organizations. The Program Director will also serve as Adjunct faculty at Crafton Hills College, which sponsors the Radiology Technology Program at ARMC, and participate in budget planning for didactic and/or clinical activities as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Current certification with the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist (RT).
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Three (3) years of Medical Imaging experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited radiography program.
  • Master's degree in Radiology or closely related field.
  • Must maintain Radiologic Technologist certification and Fluoroscopy certification with the State of California throughout employment.
  • Incumbents with out of state Radiologic Technologist must obtain Radiologic Technologist certification and Fluoroscopy certification with the State of California within six (6) months of hire or be terminated.
  • Background investigation and verification of employment history and education.
