The Radiology RN Supervisor provides comprehensive operational and clinical oversight for nursing services across all Radiology and Imaging modalities, including Interventional Radiology (IR), MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine in a hospital setting. The RN supervisor is critical for ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care by combining direct patient care responsibilities with supervisory duties. Key areas of focus include staffing coordination, workflow optimization, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. The Radiology RN Supervisor will have a matrix reporting relationship to both the OR Manager and the Imaging Manager. This role provides nursing care across Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology procedures in both the OR and Radiology environment, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures. The matrix reporting structure supports coordination between perioperative services and imaging operations, with shared accountability for clinical practice, staffing, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
