About The Position
This role is for a Contract Nurse within the Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) - Internal Traveler Program. The nurse will provide procedural sedation for patients undergoing image-guided procedures (CT, US, Fluoroscopy), including pre and post-procedure care. They will also assist with monitoring MRI patients with cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators, requiring ACLS certification. General support to the Radiology Department is also expected.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required within 6 mos from date of hire.
Responsibilities

- Provide general support to Radiology Department.
