Not a traditional Nursing Director position, this role serves as the nursing subject matter expert across all Radiology modalities. You will partner closely with Radiology leaders, physicians, and Nursing Directors throughout BIDMC, lead quality, patient safety, and patient event reporting initiatives, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Requirements

• BSN required
• Massachusetts RN License required
• BLS Certification required
• Radiology and/or Peri Op Nursing Experience required
• 5+ years of relevant healthcare leadership experience required

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree (Nursing, Healthcare Administration, MBA, or related field)
• Leadership experience in Interventional Radiology, Procedural Services, Critical Care, or Imaging

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 45 nursing professionals.
• Provide clinical and operational oversight of radiology nursing services.
• Manage recruitment, retention, staff development, and performance management.
• Oversee budget, staffing, and resource planning.
• Lead quality and regulatory initiatives.
• Serve as the nursing subject matter expert across all Radiology modalities.
• Partner closely with Radiology leaders, physicians, and Nursing Directors throughout BIDMC.
• Lead quality, patient safety, and patient event reporting initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence in a fast-paced procedural environment.
