About The Position

The Radiology Manager oversees the daily operations, financial performance, and staffing of the medical imaging department (X-Ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound), ensuring patient safety, workflow efficiency, and compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards. This role bridges clinical expertise and healthcare administration.

Requirements

• An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is the minimum.
• Professional certification such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or similar credentialing (e.g., ARDMS) is required.
• 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible clinical/managerial experience.

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Clinical Radiation Science or Healthcare Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies.
• Manage resource allocation.
• Oversee procurement and maintenance of state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate a team of radiologic technologists and support staff.
• Coordinate scheduling to provide comprehensive service.
• Propose and justify annual capital and operating budgets.
• Manage revenue cycles.
• Ensure cost-effective inventory control.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety guidelines from bodies like The Joint Commission, ACR, and state regulatory agencies.
