As a Radiology Interventional Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Your expertise in obtaining high-quality imaging and performing invasive procedures will directly support patient evaluation and treatment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of angiographic equipment and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with advanced registry in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV), or registry eligible (must obtain within 24 months of hire).
  • Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical ability to determine best methods for providing requested tests.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in specialized imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by performing scrub or circulator functions.
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic imaging to support patient evaluation and treatment.
  • Operate and maintain angiographic and supporting procedural equipment and supplies.
  • Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate imaging techniques and patient positioning.
  • Ensure adherence to department protocols and safety practices during all procedures.
