About The Position

The Angio Tech provides health care services using medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients. Perform radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and / or therapeutic intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience.
• Computer entry and word processing.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months Health care setting including, but not limited to, department secretary, admitting, billing or a medical records clerical position.
