About The Position

Wilson Health is seeking a direct hire Radiology/CT Technologist for its location in Sidney, Ohio, serving the North Dayton, Ohio area. The Radiology and Imaging Services Department performs diagnostic tests using a variety of imaging technologies including Bone Density Testing, CT Scans, CT Heart Screening with Calcium Scoring, 3D Digital Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Ultrasounds, and X-Rays. The department is staffed with highly-trained radiology personnel and board-certified radiologists. Images are stored on a Picture Archive Communication System (PACS) for physician access and consultation.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT registry or registry eligible.
• Current ARRT Registry.
• Ohio Department of Health Radiographic license.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by a Radiologist.
• Performs diagnostic radiography procedures with the level of competence required by the ARRT, Ohio Department of Health, and Medical and Administrative Directors of Radiology.
• Maintains both quality and quantity of the patient workload at a professional level.
• Displays an understanding of procedures and equipment utilized throughout the department, including radiography, trauma radiography, fluoroscopy, special procedures, surgery, and portables.
• Helps in supervising and training student technologists from Rhodes State College.
