About The Position

This is a six-month travel allied health contract for an Electrophysiology (EP) Tech in a combined Radiology/Cardiology setting at an acute, Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. The position supports a high-acuity, multi-specialty cath and interventional lab environment. First-time travelers are accepted. The facility has 407 staffed beds and uses Epic for charting. The schedule is four 10-hour day shifts, 7:00–17:30, with 70 guaranteed hours per two weeks. The traveler may be called off for one 10-hour shift per two weeks. Some Saturdays are scheduled as one of the four shifts for that week, not as an additional shift. EP call is from 6–8 PM if the traveler has left for the day; otherwise, the traveler joins the late team and stays until cases are finished. Call-backs after leaving are very rare. The facility may float the employee to like units within scope if needed and is open to accommodating a block schedule. Time off is considered individually upon offer, and all requested time off must be included in the submission. The assignment is non-local: applicants must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa sponsorship or transfer is unavailable. Scrubs are provided, parking is free, and COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
