About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech. The role involves working 4-10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call requirements. The position requires 1 year of experience and accepts first-time travelers. Local candidates are not accepted if they reside within 50 miles.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required.
• ACLS certification.
• ARRT R certification.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain RCIS certification if ARRT R is not held (only one RCIS allowed at a time due to call impact).

Nice To Haves

• ARRT certification preferred.
• RCIS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab procedures.
• Perform Interventional Cardiac Cath lab procedures.
• Assist with Cardiac Implant Closure Device procedures.
• Assist with Cardiac Stent Placement.
• Perform Diagnostic Catheterizations for adults.
• Perform IABP Placement/Removal.
• Interpret dysrhythmias.
• Perform Left heart catheterization.
• Perform Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI).
• Perform Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).
• Perform Right heart catheterization.
• Perform Rotablader athrectomy.
• Perform Scrub Procedures.
• Set up equipment.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Act as a Room circulator.
• Scrub and maintain a sterile field.
• Utilize Sterile Technique.
