About The Position

This position is for a Cath Lab Tech with a strong emphasis on Structural Heart Scrub experience. The role involves working in a dynamic environment performing various cardiac procedures. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available for any schedule changes. Missing orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. The final start date will be confirmed the Tuesday prior to the start week.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 Years' Experience
• Structural Heart Scrub Experience REQUIRED
• Cath Lab Procedure Experience (Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader)
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• RCIS OR ARRT certification

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures
• Monitor patients
• Perform PA Lines and Telemetry
• Assist with Structural Heart & TAVR procedures
• Perform Balloon Angioplasty
• Perform PCI
• Perform Stent procedures
• Perform Thrombectomy
• Perform Impella insertion
• Perform Left & Right Heart Catheterization
• Perform Rotablader procedures
• Circulate (preferred)
• Start IVs (preferred)
• Administer Conscious Sedation (preferred)
• Perform Watchman Procedures (preferred)
• Perform Septal Closure (preferred)
• Perform Ablations (preferred)
• Perform Coil Embolization (preferred)
• Perform Filter Placement (preferred)
• Interpret EKG settings and rhythms (preferred)
• Float to EP if required (rare)
• Work in the patient holding area within the Cath lab on occasion
