Radiology Assistant
About The Position
The Department of Radiology is seeking to hire several medical students to work directly with Radiology Residents. Students will be primarily responsible for coordinating Imaging protocols between referring clinical services and Radiology technologists. A Radiology resident on call will always be available during work hours to answer questions or to deal with complicated issues. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a medical student to learn about Radiology and determine if a Radiology Residency is of interest. This position will involve working one to two shifts per week between the hours of 5-11 p.m. Shifts will be conducted every day of the week.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM
- Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count)
- If Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
Nice To Haves
- Must be 2nd or 3rd year medical student.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating Imaging protocols between the referring clinical services and the Radiology technologists.
