Join our accomplished Radiology Team at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN! St. Joseph's Medical Center is a 162-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center with a 24-hour emergency room. We take pride in bringing a wide range of services to residents and visitors of the Brainerd, Minnesota area.
Requirements
- Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- On the job certification is available.
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance with direct patient care in the Radiology Department, but will not administer ionizing radiation, intravenous contrast media, and/or prescribed pharmacy medications.
- Performs specialized tasks under the supervision of technologists and/or radiologists.
- Duties include all or some of the following: patient reception by phone registration and/or registration confirmation, appointment and procedure/lab scheduling, and related clinical information management.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with the patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age and developmental level of the involved patient population.
