About The Position

Parrish Medical Center is seeking a Radiologist to provide onsite coverage. The physician will be responsible for reading general radiology studies and performing light interventional radiology procedures. The role requires the ability to perform mammography procedures, including needle biopsies and stereotactic breast biopsies.

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Valid Florida State License
• Ability to perform mammography procedures (needle bx's, stereotactic breast bbx's, etc.)
• Ability to read general radiology studies
• Ability to perform light IR procedures (para's, thora's, drainages, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite coverage for radiology services.
• Read general radiology studies.
• Perform light interventional radiology procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, drainages, and chest tube insertions.
• Perform biopsies such as thyroid, bone, lung, liver, and renal.
• Perform CT-guided and US-guided procedures.
• Perform cyst aspirations.
• Perform lumbar punctures, diagnostic lumbar punctures, and myelograms.
• Perform epidural procedures.
• Perform mammography procedures including needle biopsies and stereotactic breast biopsies.
