About The Position
This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced medical practice environment. As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions through advanced imaging techniques. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring accurate interpretations and timely reporting of radiological findings.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Radiology
- Valid state medical license for New York
- Experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient care and medical ethics
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and software
- Must be board-certified
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
- Interpret radiological images and generate detailed reports
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and treatment options
- Assist in developing and implementing departmental protocols
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance initiatives
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology and healthcare practices
