About The Position
Medcan is seeking a Radiologist to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. The radiology department sees clients for preventative and acute care. This is an Independent Contractor role initially working Saturdays each week, with the opportunity for occasional weekday coverage as needed. This is a remote opportunity.
Requirements
- Degree in Medicine (MD)
- Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and currently licensed to practice in Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate interpretation of ultrasound, bone density, X-Ray and mammography scans.
- Align to provide open and candid communication within the department.
- Collaborate well with the clinic team (i.e. imaging technologists, nurses and managers).
- Continuously look to innovate care practices using the best evidence medical care.
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated radiologists.
