About The Position

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Valid medical license to practice in the state of Maryland
Completion of a residency in Radiology
Board certification in Radiology preferred
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Commitment to continuous professional development and education
Must be board-certified

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
Interpret medical images and provide accurate reports to referring physicians
Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss patient diagnoses and treatment plans
Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety during imaging procedures
Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques
Educate patients and families about imaging procedures and results
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and medical students
