About The Position

Integrated Health Centers of West Virginia (IHCWV) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiological Technologist to join their Ancillary Services team. This is a full-scope role where the technologist will deliver diagnostic imaging services across the patient population and also support laboratory functions as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary care team. The role is ideal for someone who takes pride in technical precision, patient-centered care, and being a supportive teammate.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
  • Active West Virginia radiologic technology license
  • Active ARRT (Radiography) certification
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-rays for patients of all ages — neonatal through geriatric — using sound clinical judgment and meticulous technique
  • Prepare patients for procedures with clear communication that puts them at ease
  • Apply radiation protection best practices including shielding and ALARA principles at every step
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment and digital imaging systems (PACS/RIS), including routine quality checks
  • Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to keep patient flow moving efficiently
  • Accurately document and scan imaging reports into the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Assist with phlebotomy and laboratory functions, performing venipunctures, capillary punctures, and finger sticks across the age spectrum — including infants and elderly patients
  • Maintain laboratory supply inventory and keep work areas clean and organized
  • Enter lab orders, results, and patient data into EHR systems with accuracy
