About The Position
This is a part-time position for a Radiological Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic radiographs and EKGs upon receiving physicians' requests. The role requires ensuring safety and precision while utilizing the least amount of radiation necessary.
Requirements
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with radiology in an in-patient healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of math, reading, writing, physics, medical terminology preferred.
- Computer skills are needed.
- Licensed by the State of Virginia preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely and precisely perform maximum quality diagnostic radiographs utilizing the least amount of radiation necessary.
- Correctly perform EKG's.
Benefits
- These positions are hourly/wage and not eligible for benefits.
- Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than 29 hours a week and are limited to working 1500 hours in a year.
