About The Position
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Assist Radiologist in the performance of localization and biopsy procedures as required. Performs high-quality radiographic examinations.
Requirements
- Completed a program in radiological technology.
- Meet the experience and educational requirement of the FDA (MQSA) to perform Mammography procedures.
- Ability to perform mammography/diagnostic radiology exams.
- Good communication skills.
- Met requirements for mammography licensing by CRT and ARRT.
- Holds and maintains current certifications from the ARRT, CRT, and American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR card.
- Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
Nice To Haves
- One-year acute hospital experience preferred.
- California fluoroscopy permit preferred.
