About The Position

This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the embedded training team who provides facilitative and deck plate services for the radiological community to include: X11, X18, X31, X32, X33, X36, X42 and X43. This includes but is not limited to: observations of production teams performance at the deck plate.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of exempt experience; Master's degree and 1 year of exempt experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate
High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School
3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience

Nice To Haves

O26 or O67 training instructional experience and/or trade supervisory experience.
Radiological Qualifications
Maintain a high level of professionalism.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers.
Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs.
Prepares training materials.
Develops course content.
Determines methodology.
Coordinates the development of training aids.
Conducts training sessions.
Develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
May utilize trainers with technical expertise.
Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
Provides facilitative and deck plate services for the radiological community.
Observes production teams performance at the deck plate.
