About The Position

We are seeking POOL Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist to join our outpatient orthopaedic team. Position Highlights Pool position Weekend schedule Outpatient orthopaedic setting Collaborative clinical team Modern digital imaging equipment Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging for orthopaedic patients Position patients properly for musculoskeletal imaging studies Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures Maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care Maintain accurate imaging records within the electronic medical record system Assist with clinic workflow and patient preparation as needed Communicate effectively with immediate coworkers as well as those throughout the clinic. Requirements

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
  • Valid, unrestricted Wisconsin Radiographer license (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions).
  • Completed AMA-approved, radiologic technology training (2 year minimum) or associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an x-ray technologist, preferably in an orthopedic or hospital setting.
  • Proficient in operating x-ray equipment and related technology.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, particularly the musculoskeletal system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to safely lift and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Familiar with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as EPIC
  • Competence in using imaging software such as PACS.
