About The Position

Fortis College in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an experienced, motivated Radiologic Technologist to teach in its Radiologic Technology Program. The position is part-time and reports directly to the Dean of Education. The typical teaching load is two courses per term, with one or two course preparations. The instructor also provides academic advising to students and participates in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, Radiography, or Nuclear Science; or a degree in a health-related field combined with an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, Radiography, or Nuclear Science.
• AART-R certification/licensure.
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• Prior higher education or postsecondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach Radiologic Technology courses.
