About The Position

Just 4 Kids Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform clinical duties, including radiologic examinations of pediatric patients, while creating a superior patient experience. The clinic is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days per week. Part-time staff work two 12-hour shifts each week. The role also includes basic medical assistant duties, supporting providers and registered nurses with medical procedures, maintaining examination rooms and supplies, and protecting patient confidentiality.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Radiologic Technologist certification and registry maintenance through ARRT.
Current BLS certificate.
Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Provide a superior patient experience by embracing the J4K mission and values and treating everyone with compassion and respect.
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and take X-rays according to established protocols and patient-care and safety procedures.
Clarify discrepancies to ensure radiographs are interpreted.
Use necessary radiation protection and shielding materials.
Log radiologic procedures and process related paperwork using computer equipment as directed.
Maintain examination rooms and stock necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
Perform basic medical assistant duties, including rooming patients, taking vitals and patient histories, obtaining chief complaints, completing approved point-of-care lab testing, and discharging patients.
Maintain sterile technique during patient procedures and when cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
Assist providers and RNs with various medical procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA.
