About The Position

Radiologic Technologist – Mammography Cross-Training Opportunity (Full-Time) Seven Pines | Southeast Jacksonville (Southside Area) Precision Imaging Centers is growing! We are excited to announce a new state-of-the-art imaging center opening in Seven Pines, located in Southeast Jacksonville’s Southside area near the intersection of I-295 and Butler Boulevard. We are seeking Radiologic Technologists who are motivated to advance their careers by cross-training in Mammography. This is a unique opportunity to gain specialized skills in a high-demand modality while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team. Training & Work Location: Initial training will take place at our Gate Parkway center Must be willing to commute between Gate Parkway and Seven Pines Training period: Minimum of 6 months to achieve Mammography registration Transition to Seven Pines location upon opening later this year Schedule: Full-Time Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Why Join Precision Imaging Centers? Requirements

  • ARRT (R) required
  • BLS certification required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Willingness to train and become Mammography certified
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Venipuncture experience preferred (willing to train)
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and review patient medical histories
  • Interpret physician orders and prepare for imaging procedures
  • Educate and guide patients to ensure comfort and cooperation
  • Position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
  • Assist radiologists with procedures as needed
  • Support other modalities and team members when necessary
