About The Position
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform x-ray procedures for patients of all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, and handle related duties under the direction of a Radiologist. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent communication and multitasking skills, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. The technologist must be capable of working independently and be proficient in General Radiology, Portables, Fluoro, and ED Radiology.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA (American Medical Association) approved Radiologic Technology Program
- Graduate of a JCERT accredited Program in Radiography
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R)
- Current BLS – American Heart Association or BLS – American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Good communication skills
- General clerical skills
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Perform x-ray procedures to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform related duties under the direction of a Radiologist.
- Competent in the practice of General Radiology, Portables, Fluoro and ED Radiology.
