Performs a variety of radiology procedures utilizing all aspects of the equipment. The role requires the technologist to operate radiographic equipment, including C-ARM, R&F room, and portable equipment. They must be able to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and provide age-appropriate care to patients ranging from neonate/infant to geriatric. Responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures of high technical quality, utilizing proper radiation protection, efficiently using all equipment, stocking x-ray rooms, performing diagnostic procedures, assisting the Radiologist, documenting patient condition changes, obtaining medical history, preparing patients for exams, performing receptionist and Radiology Assistant duties as needed, producing radiographs, practicing isolation techniques, and following ALARA guidelines and Universal Precautions.
