The Radiologic Technologist performs all radiographic examinations according to established protocols set forth by the medical director, maintaining a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This role requires knowledge and awareness of radiation protection and safety during all examinations, and involves preparing for and assisting the radiologist with intricate radiographic examinations. The Radiologic Technologist will also prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure as well as state and federal regulations.
