About The Position
UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health – Geneva General Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for full-time and per diem opportunities. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while providing compassionate, professional care to patients. It's an opportunity for both recent graduates and experienced technologists to grow their skills and make a difference in patient lives.
Requirements
- Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program through an AMA-approved school or an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Broad educational background in Diagnostic Radiology.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of experience in related radiology fields.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered.
- Operate portable radiographic equipment when needed.
- Apply knowledge and technical expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Follow infection-control practices and Universal Precautions.
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and technical skill in all areas of Diagnostic Radiology.
