About The Position
A medical facility located near Carthage, Illinois is seeking a full-time, permanent Radiologic Technologist to join their team! This is a full-time, direct hire position with an evening shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The role involves performing radiographic and diagnostic procedures under the direction of a radiologist, operating radiologic equipment, processing images, and preparing the patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology.
- Must have ARRT Certification
- Licensed by the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a radiologist, performs radiographic procedures and diagnostic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
- Administers roentgen rays.
- Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray image.
- Processes images.
- Prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications.
