About The Position
Franciscan Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and playing a vital role in the diagnostic process. In this role, you will work closely with patients and providers to capture high-quality diagnostic images that help guide treatment and improve health outcomes. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam, and operate imaging equipment with precision and care. You’ll also apply your expertise in radiation protection and safety practices to maintain the highest standards of patient and staff safety. Requirements
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
- Possession of a CPR certification required.
Responsibilities
- Using proper radiation protection and precautions, prepares and operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment.
- Positions patients to obtain appropriate radiographic exposures.
- Operates film processing equipment.
- Maintains computerized records, files, and/or reports. Participates in audits as required.
- Participates in quality control and quality assurance testing.
- Assists the supervising radiologist with administrative functions.
