About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling emergency and trauma cases, operating independently, and delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• Experience in Emergency Room, Trauma, and Operating Room settings required
• Experience with portable imaging and pediatric patients required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• ARRT certification required
• New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license required
• Must be eligible to meet National Registry requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with minimal supervision
• Position patients and select appropriate technical factors for imaging
• Operate radiologic equipment and ensure high-quality imaging results
• Perform portable X-ray exams in patient rooms, OR, and emergency settings
• Assist physicians with contrast procedures as needed
• Follow radiation safety protocols and minimize patient exposure
• Accurately document and label imaging studies
• Maintain organized work areas and ensure equipment readiness
• Assist patients with mobility and positioning during procedures
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and record maintenance
