Radiologic Technologist - Full Time Day

About The Position
This position currently offers up to $50,000 in signing bonus for both external applicants as well as internal per diem to full-time conversions! The diagnostic technologist, under the direction of a radiologist and imaging leadership, with minimum supervision, must maintain the daily function of the Diagnostic Radiology department, performing a variety of X-Ray procedures.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT(R) Certification required within six months
- For NY sites: NYS DOH License for Radiologic Technologist
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year preferred as a registered technologist.
- AAS degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs Radiographic procedures using proper Radiologist protocols and standard workflows based on annual competencies.
- Practices safe patient care
- Performs proper equipment upkeep, including daily QA procedures
- Utilizes radiation safety measures for patients and personnel.
- Additional duties as assigned and warranted
- On Call shifts where applicable
- Oversee and instruct students in the clinical setting where applicable
