About The Position

This is an on-site position at Froedtert West Bend Hospital. The role involves preparing patients and performing radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology, operating imaging equipment, and performing diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. The technologist will adhere to organizational customer service standards, support excellence initiatives, and provide positive interaction with patients, visitors, and staff. Ancillary services and patient care assistance may also be required. The position emphasizes team-based, interdisciplinary collaboration within a hospital setting, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to contribute to patient care and outcomes. A patient-centered mission and work-life balance are also highlighted.

Requirements

• Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology is required.
• Current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
• Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.
• An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated; ability to organize and prioritize well; ability to remain flexible and to reorganize priorities when emergencies arise.
