About The Position

A regional healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join its Imaging team at a 125-bed hospital in Grants Pass, Oregon. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where you'll perform a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while providing exceptional patient care. The Radiologic Technologist will utilize independent clinical judgment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety and comfort, and support physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Requirements

  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (RT(R))
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography procedures and patient care
  • Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and independently when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and C-arm procedures
  • Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
  • Familiarity with Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations using digital imaging equipment
  • Produce high-quality images while following established imaging protocols
  • Evaluate radiographs for quality and ensure accurate imaging prior to submission
  • Provide compassionate patient care and maintain patient safety throughout all procedures
  • Perform exams including, but not limited to: Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Extremities, Skull and spine, Fluoroscopy procedures, Portable imaging, Operating Room (C-arm) procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
  • Accurately document procedures using the electronic health record
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care
  • Follow departmental policies, safety standards, and state regulatory requirements
