About The Position

The Advanced Center for Surgery in Vero Beach is a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center performing outpatient procedures in General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, Plastic/Reconstruction, Podiatry, Robotic Total Joints, and Spine. As an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), the center provides first-class surgical services. The Per Diem Radiologic Technologist will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. This role requires skill in sterile field assistance during operating room and pain management procedures and maintaining professional relationships with physicians and staff. This position does not require weekend, holiday, or on-call work.

Requirements

• Skilled in sterile field assistance during operating room and pain management procedures.
• Ability to maintain a professional relationship with physicians and staff.
• Competency in IV and contrast administration.
• Competency in Orthopedic Radiology.
• Competency in Pediatric Radiology.
• Competency in Operating Room Radiology.
• Competency in Trauma procedures.
• Competency in performing Pain Blocks.
• Competency in performing Cholangiograms.
• Competency in performing CXR.
• Competency in performing Modified Specimen Mammograms.
• Ability to file and log in OR x-rays.
• Ability to keep Mini C-Arm logs updated.
• Ability to report radiology findings to physicians.
