About The Position

The Interventional Radiology Technologist works four 10-hour days per week, Monday through Friday, and participates in required on-call coverage. Call hours are 17:00 to 07:00, with a weekend call rotation every fourth weekend; the rotation may be more frequent depending on staffing needs. The role serves adult patients ages 18 and older. The staffing ratio is 3 to 4 team members per case, comprising a combination of radiologic technologists and registered nurses. The technologist may be required to cover C-arm procedures in the operating room or endoscopy. The job posting notes a 75-mile radius rule and that local candidates are accepted at a local rate.

Requirements

• Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience.
