Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date
- State Registered Radiologic Technician
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)- REQUIRED
- High School Graduate / GED
- New Grads that have passed state boards will be considered
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures and be responsible for patient safety protocols.
- Responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting.
- Confirming order with patient and making any corrections to exam.
- Must obtain quality image including both technical and positional factors.
- Responsible for maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable.
- Confirming patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing and releasing images.
- Assuring all “Stat” procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately.
