About The Position

This role involves making a difference in the lives of patients every day by providing mobile X-Ray and EKG services wherever patients call home. Radiologic Technologists enjoy the variety of work each day brings, thrive in an environment where making decisions independently is encouraged and supported, and are not confined to a hospital or doctor's office. This is a PRN (as needed) position for credentialed R.T.s by ARRT who love serving patients. All needed resources, including a company vehicle, gas card, x-ray equipment, PPE, and scrubs, are provided.

Requirements

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Basic ability to use mobile device and apps
  • Flexibility to adjust to changes and process improvements
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good driving skills
  • Completion of Radiography program
  • Maintain required State licenses/ARRT Certification
  • Annual TB screens, physicals, and vaccinations, as required
  • Valid driver's license, in good standing

Responsibilities

  • Interact with patients compassionately and professionally by driving company vehicle to each patient, within designated service area
  • Load and unload equipment from company vehicle, using ramps, and transport to each patients’ bedside
  • Perform quality x-rays and EKGs to transmit to radiologist/cardiologist for interpretation
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and maintenance schedule
  • Assist in other service areas, as needed
  • Submit accurate and timely timesheets, as per protocol
  • Scanning, filing, faxing, photocopying, mailing
  • Attend and participate in meetings
  • Demonstrate regular attendance
  • Train other technologists, as needed
  • Perform special projects or other duties, as assigned
