About The Position
In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and a positive care experience. Beyond imaging, you'll also assist with clinical tasks such as EKGs, drug screenings, and patient referrals, making you an essential part of our dynamic medical team.
Requirements
- Applied Science Degree in Radiology from an accredited college and registry eligibility
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A positive, patient-first mindset with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to collaborate, adapt, and grow within a mission-driven team
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostic imaging while prioritizing patient safety
- Maintain and operate radiology equipment with precision and care
- Ensure proper shielding and radiation safety for all patients
- Assist with clinical procedures such as EKGs, drug screenings, breath alcohol tests, and spirometry
- Process and manage radiology reports efficiently
- Provide exceptional patient support, ensuring comfort and clear communication
- Work as part of a collaborative healthcare team, assisting with patient referrals and triage
- Train and mentor new radiology team members
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor with patients, providers, and team members
