About The Position

Operates diagnostic radiological equipment to produce images of designated portions of the body in the setting of a Physician office. Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
• A.R.R.T. registered in Radiology, state licensed in radiology by the LSRT.
• Current BLS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off.
• Must have previous medical terminology or may be required to attend terminology course.
• Must be able to maintain composure under difficult and stressful conditions.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Displays tact and diplomacy in inter-personal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Physician’s office experience preferred.
